Nursery Room Leader, Bristol, £28,017 pa + Benefits, Mon-Fri, 40 hours, Permanent, Full Time

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a friendly Nursery Group with opportunities across the Bristol area. Their modern and spacious facilities offer a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn through play.

As the team leader, you will play a vital role in the development of the children and the motivation of the staff within your room. You will lead by example, serving as a role model for the team, and ensuring the safety, care, and education of the children to the highest standard at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and engaging children during playtime
• Facilitating learning and play activities for children
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members
• Maintaining high standards of operation
• Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the team's success

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of two years' experience in an early years setting and at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. You should also have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or equivalent qualification
• Experience working and playing with children
• Proactive and motivated approach to work
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Professionalism and ability to work well in a team
• Effective communication and active listening skills
